I’m really long overdue in writing, but thought this was a pretty cool video that I stumbled upon. Combines my love for snowboarding with my love for technology. Fittingly, in tribute to Steve Jobs – who always pushed the design envelope.

This video is from a fellow NYU student.
So much stuff. That’s the general theme of a new short film, Web 3.0, by Kate Ray, a Journalism/Psychology major at NYU.

Video on Web 3.0.

Best Jobs in America infographic

I enjoy my work, and I’d like to think I have one of the best jobs in the world.  I was glad to see my job on this list.  This is an interesting infographic by FOCUS.  Take a look (by clicking on the graphic) and see where your job fits in, is it time for a job change?  This infographic was compiled by FOCUS using data from CNN.

Appreciation

I appreciate photography, videography, snowboarding, and living in the moment.
This is a video I discovered on Vimeo.com by Troy Costa, who embraces all of these elements.
The way he filmed it is absolutely beautiful using a Canon 7d and Opteka 6.5mm fisheye.
I aspire to shoot film this beautiful.

I’ve begun taking pictures of things I see that to me seem as though they may be off brand.  I’ll explain my reasoning and share with you the picture, and then I’ll let you be the judge.  I was in a discount retailer and saw this hat.  It’s a Mets hat, and I found myself wondering what does colorful spray dots have to do with the Mets?  Maybe I am missing something, but when I see these colorful spray dots I immediately start thinking Krylon Spray paint.

On a Krylon spray can, this would make sense, as in the real life example below.  However, for the Mets hat – I think I must be missing something?
